Finger Hurts After 1 Month After Hit By Football?

Well back on the 4th of july me and my friends were playing football outside. Basically went up for a catch and it hit my "Pinkie" finger. Now it hurts almost like i need to pop it really bad. I dont know what it is but it cant be arthritis since its only in that top joint of my pinkie finger. Anyone know what it might be?
