36 weeks pregnant, want to start labor...?

Ok so I will be 36 weeks tomorrow and my last dr appointment last week my doctor told me my baby was a little over 5lbs and she wanted to get a sonogram to see how big she really is. She is concerned becuase I am very short and small, and I do not want a c-section, she said she may induce me, but not until I am 37 weeks. I really want my baby out already I am soo tired, is there any thing I can do to start labor? I have had a lot of cramping but not consistent. It feels like sharp pains down there, and other times it feels like a bad period cramp. They last 10-20 seconds, on and off, and like I said not consistent. Thanks!
