Where are we going? How can I change the world?

I feel like the world is going to ****, and no ones doing anything about it. Im 18 and im in college, ive done a bit of travelling and i realized, we suck. by we i mean our generation, we know nothing about the world, and were only in school to get a better job. most people dont even care about learning or application, its just about getting that A and getting that 100k job. dude i sound like a hippy but i need to frickin do something about it. The world with never be fixed because no individual can be 100% alright/peaceful/happy, but maybe we can make it better. Im a freshman in a pre med program but i feel like i want to join the army or something. what do i do? where do i go? im so pissed at this school im in, its doing nothign for me, there isnt a single person on campus on the weekends because everyones getting trashed elsewhere with their high school friends, no one cares about the big picture. i love america, but we are destroying it. how can i change the world. where can i go.
