Are there side effects with eye transplants?
There is no such thing as an "eye transplant." You need to sit down at Google and study up what is involved in a cataract operation. The reason for the operation is because the internal lens of the eye was clouded over or milky, causing severe loss of vision. The surgery removes this cloudy lens, and a new clear lens is inserted to restore normal distance vision. It is all a part of a routine cataract operation, performed thousands of times per day across the country, every day of the week. Forget your bad attitude about doctors using the "poor community as guinea pigs." That only betrays your complete lack of education and understanding, and reveals that you have an agenda here. As for not trusting doctors, how about this: next time you need surgery, why don't you go down to Radio Shack and ask the kid behind the counter to perform the surgery on you? Or maybe the stock boy at the supermarket could do it. Or, hey, how about the guys down at the -Lube Oil Change shop? Oh, wait.... only surgeons are qualified and trained to perform surgery, aren't they? Funny how that works out, isn't it? Nobody is pulling the wool over anyone's eyes, but YOU are certainly attempting to pull the wool on the readers in this forum.
