How Bush screwed up in the Iraq war?

hell yeah i do, we just had a debate on this in my english cl the other day, not very specific but fun, bush did screw up badly, his interest was oil, puttin terrorism as an excuse, uhmm... now his plan has sort of backfired bringing him more trouble, calling for more resources and having him send more troops, not only that but the people the citizens of iraq and iran, especially the youth, they're growing up with the fear and hate for americans, generations later when supposedly democrasy will have been improvised in iraq, those children who now suffer and live the terror will not think of the u.s. as a good example of democrasy and probably rebel, i mean in a way they will remember and hold that grudge against us. we are not representative of a democrasy, only an example of a democrasy, (i think i'm spelling democrasy wrong) anyways i'm very informed on this subject
