Is there software to make double sided scans from a simplex scanner?

I have a simplex Lexmark X4270 scanner, but I need to scan double sided pages. Rather than spend +$400 for a duplex scanner, is there software that I can select double sided, then scan one side, flip it, and scan the second side and have the software automatically sort the pages correctly?
