My writing style? Is it believable, mediocre, all criticism is welcome.?
It was night fall. Serene winds swayed and twisted the dead Autumn leaves up to Tabitha's trembling feet. Bruised and battered like her aching hands and legs, She'd just ran, ran so fast she desired to leave behind the hell she'd just lived for six months but ultimately desired to outrun her mind itself, that way she would never have to think about what just happened less than twenty four hours ago. Tabitha remained unshakably frozen, only to allow the frozen air to consume her airless lungs. Howling noises broke the silent night. Alert she searched the pitch black woods, in fear. It is said these woods were dead in silence because nothing entered and left alive. If these legends were true Tabitha had no intentions on awakening the harsh evils that had stolen so many lives before her. She remained quiet, silent. Even her heart fluttered soft beats, as if it too knew not to beat too loud. Utterly terrified of what my find her in the Slaughterville's forests, Tabitha knelt down onto the cold rugged roots of a nearby tree and waited for dawn. Minutes sprinted by and there no howls. After allowing half an hour to p Tabitha finally convinced herself that she was alone, and soon enough her mind flew through the night catching up with her, vomiting her memories. Like taking a blow to the chest, Tabitha felt over bursting into flooding tears as thoughts of her family surfaced. Mother, father, and her six month old twin brothers all slaughtered by the beasts that walk the night and claim this forest..... She felt to blame and cried aloud, forgetting where she was.....seconds eased by and a branch broke, shaking Tabitha out of her tormented conscious. Twigs shattered under heavy feet. Someone had been following her—the men that slaughtered her family? She denied the thought, Tabitha fled that god forsaken place hours ago. It was something else growing closer, near. She scanned the woods desperately, heavy breathing, and snarling could be heard in the distance and even around her. Multiple men—she tried processing. No not that rough and loud. They were beasts-- A patch between the trees allowed the full moonlight's glistening glow to radiate off her pale, flushed skin. A howl broke her breathing. She'd been trembling violently and as the werewolf broke through the darkness on the opposite side of the opening, Tabitha knew her fate was soon to be as her family's—she was about to be slaughtered... if she hadn't projected the last energy out of herself. All around the hairy beasts snarled at a ideal meal and Tabitha climbed to her feet as she held out her body, eyes closed. Her body highlighted a radiant red. The wolves howled louder and as they lunged in the air the light around Tabitha's body brightened and before their snout bearing teeth could reach her flesh Tabitha forced the magic away from her burning everything around her.
